Solar Power Project - CCS Solar Panel Array

The CCS Solar Power Project was part of the continuing efforts of the school's Energy solar energy and Sustainability solar project Committee, which has worked over the past 9 years to make recommendations to  solar damper the Board of solar inverter Education on ways to make CCS more energy efficient and sustainable.

The Solar Power Project came at no cost to the school district, as it was part of a power purchase agreement between solar tracker actuator CCS and Monolith Solar.  This project had no impact on the tax payer and has created the opportunity for CCS to purchase energy at a reduced rate while also educating students about photovoltaic holder the benefits of renewable energy resources.  This project represents the first use of photovoltaic energy by a school district slewing drive in Washington solar slewing drive County.
 

The CCS Solar array is made up of two separate systems:

Cambridge System A – K-12 School Building
 

This system is made up of 671 panels.
 

Each panels measures 300 watts.
 

The total system size is 201,300 watts.
 

System is expected to produce over 202,000 kilowatt-hours of energy annually.
 

This offsets about 139 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions, and will supply approximately 26% of the school's electricity needs.

 

Cambridge System B – District Office/Bus Garage
 

This system is slewing drive made up of 275 panels.
 

Each panels measures 300 watts.
 

The total system size is 82,500 watts.
 

System is expected to produce over 83,000 kilowatt- hours of energy annually.
 

This offsets about 57.2 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions, and will supply over 100% of the building's electricity needs.
